Boilers for biomass
On the Czech market we represent two major European manufacturers of biomass boilers, the Austrian company KOHLBACH and the German company HDG Bavaria. Both manufacturers have been among the absolute European leaders for several decades. The heat outputs of the boilers offered range from as little as 10 kW to 18,000 kW per combustion chamber. But we are not just a simple dealership, we offer above all years of experience in burning wood chips, straw, pellets and lump wood.
Combustion chambers
KOHLBACH combustion chambers have a sophisticated firebox design with generously sized combustion zones, an inclined sliding grate and a hydraulic fuel feeding system without the need for belt or screw conveyors. The application of the TTT (Transport - mixing, Time - delay time, Temperature - temperature) design principles in the combustion process ensures low emission values of monitored substances and the separation of a significant part of the ash in the combustion chamber. The full refractory lining together with the cooling of the grate frame by boiler water and the cooling of the feed chamber guarantees a long service life. The KOHLBACH chambers also allow the combustion of untreated and unsorted fuel. The fuel feeding system is resistant to unwanted objects - stones, dirt, pieces of metal, etc., unique is the ability to handle isolated pieces of boards up to 100 x 100 x 1000 mm. Quick and easy installation thanks to pre-assembled modules. Regulating range 30 - 100% power.
Flue gas heat exchangers
KOHLBACH offers a complete portfolio of flue gas heat exchangers including special spiral flue gas/thermal oil exchangers for applications with ORC systems. The exchangers are designed for use with KOHLBACH combustion chambers. Each exchanger is designed with the individual customer requirements in mind and optimized for the anticipated operating load and fuel grade. The exchangers are supplied as two- or three-stroke exchangers, in a horizontal design for positioning above the boiler combustion chamber, or in a vertical design for optimum use of building space. Of course, automatic cleaning systems using compressed air are available, allowing continuous operation of the exchangers for up to 8,000 hours. For plants with an increased risk of overheating, an emergency flue gas exchanger cooling system can be supplied. The basic features of every KOHLBACH heat exchanger are operational reliability, long service intervals and a high degree of efficiency.
Accessories
Accessories KOHLBACH supplies a wide range of products for trouble-free operation of boilers, from thermometers and lambda probes to the famous robust sliding floors and advanced control systems. Fast delivery of spare parts is a matter of course, not only small ones (transmitters, grates, ...) but also complete assemblies such as the compression zone.
